For ARTSITE she has created a site-specific installation entitled, “The Dining Room” a snapshot of an overly idealized dining room to the extent that aesthetic choices have superseded function. Haas is also pursuing her MFA at UW-Milwaukee.

Wanakee Pugh taught herself to paint following a career in the New York fashion world of the 1980’s and 90’s. Having worked with such industry giants as Andy Warhol, Vera Wang and Richard Avedon, she appeared regularly in Vogue, Self and Essence magazines. The former model was immersed in a world of colors, textures, light and movement  which later became signature components in her abstract paintings.

John Mazurek exhibits a photographic series of close-up images of vintage automobiles in a Pop Art-like feel. While the classic car’s flowing lines evoke motion and sensuality reminiscent of organic forms the hot rod image reminds us of a time of youthful defiance. John teaches digital photography at UW-Parkside. Mazurek is a member of Spectrum Gallery. www.fineartamerica.com
