ArtSpace Gallery (Racine Arts Council)

Racine Arts Council’s ArtSpace gallery is now accepting applications for 2019 gallery exhibitions. ArtSpace is located at 409 Sixth Street in downtown Racine, Wisconsin. Each year, ArtSpace holds an average of eight exhibits. ArtSpace gallery is dedicated to exhibiting works by emerging artists residing in Southeastern Wisconsin and community projects. Artists 18 years of age and older may submit 2D or 3D works created in the last three years for consideration for a solo or group show. 


Racine Arts Council is a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage, support and advocates on behalf of emerging and established artists, artistic groups in our community, and young people interested in the arts.

Published quarterly and accepts work continuously.  They welcome submissions from both new and established artists and writers, nationally and internationally, but first consideration is offered to the creative people in Southeast Wisconsin and Northeast Illinois.

Racine Symphony


For over 85 years, generations of people have been instrumental (pun intended) in making music in our community. Founder Fredrick Schulte began the Orchestra in 1932. The Orchestra performs this season’s finale on April 22, 2018. We are proud to have a season consisting of Pops Concerts (Summer and Holiday), Masterworks Concerts and a wide variety of music education programs.

Rhode Center for the Arts

The Rhode Center for the Arts, owned by Lakeside Players (LSP) Inc. is a community theatre group formed in 1973. Rhode Center for the Arts provides the community with increasingly ambitious theatrical productions and other forms of live entertainment. The Rhode Center is home to two performance venues, the Donna Wolf-Steigerwaldt Auditorium and Skinner Hall, as well as two art galleries, the Pollard Gallery and the KAA Spotlight Gallery. A full season of comedies, dramas, and musicals are presented as part of the LSP Mainstage Series, as well as adults-only performances in the L@TR Series, workshops and productions in the Family Theatre Series.
