Great Lakes Chalk Art Competition (GLCAC) is an annual event held in conjunction with Monument Square Art Festival. GLCAC is a juried event offering $1,000 in cash artist awards. There is no fee to participate if accepted.

Great Lakes Chalk Art Competition (GLCAC) will feature regional chalk artists, creating works of art directly on the pavement along 5th Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Main Street in Downtown Racine, Wisconsin. Judging will take place at the end of the day and awards will be announced at the MSAF/GLCAC artists reception that evening.

 

GLCAC is open to all artists at least 18 years or older. Participants under the age of 18 must have an adult submit the application on behalf of the participant and be present during the competition.

Applications are now available for chalk artists interested in participating in this exciting event.

Second Place: $250 
Third Place: $150 
People’s Choice: $100
