Help us promote the PositivePowerOfArt!

Racine Arts Council encourages, supports and advocates on behalf of emerging and established artists, artistic groups in our community and young people interested in the arts. In 2017, we celebrated our 50th anniversary as Wisconsin’s longest running arts council.

  • Connected children and young men to Racine’s art community through our ArtStart outreach program involving HALO and Racine Youthful Correctional Facility.

  • Distributed free instruments through our Lonely Instruments Need Kids(LINK) program to students who could not afford to rent or purchase them.

  • Granted $10,000 to local artists through our ArtSeed Program funded by Real Racine and the Wisconsin Arts Board.

  • Hosted the Ballyhoo at the Zoo, the longest running juried art fair in Wisconsin.

  • Hosted the Quilts on Barns, Beauty of Rural Art driving tour in Racine County.  We were the "first" in Wisconsin to create a county-wide quilt barn project.
